Bob Evans goes down with the ship - literally. On his latest promotional
stop Evans visited fellow Force Fin enthusiasts in Nebraska. Bob Evans
was asked to be part of a tribute to Ken Claussen, founder of Heartland
Scuba Center of Lincoln, Nebraska. In memory of Ken Claussen his boat
was sunken as part of the two day annual event called "Treasure Dive".
Bob Evans was asked to participate in the ceremony by riding the boat
as it sank into the center of the lake.
Sponsored by Heartland Scuba Centers of Keaney and Lincoln, Nebraska,
Treasure Dive gives the opportunity for scuba divers to gather and take
part in various games and events such as scuba poker and watching diving
movies under the stars. With profits going to Divers Alert Network it
makes for a fun filled weekend. To find out more about Treasure Dive visit

During his visit Bob Evans pulled out his engraving tool and signed over
70 pairs of Force Fins whose owners lined up to have their fins engraved.
Ron Johns, Proprietor of Kearney's Heartland Scuba Center and Brian Shreve
of the Lincoln store, organizers of the annual event had this to say about
Bob Evans visit, "It was great having Bob here. Almost all of our clientele
use Force Fins so all these dedicated users actually got to meet the man
who created them. I overheard Bob ask one of the divers why they purchased
Force Fins and he said, "They're the best!" That pretty well sums it up."
