Rip Force Fin

Glenn Solly owner of Soonami Surf and the inventor of the V-Board and the Vent Keel.

Cramps, yep I used to get some shockers and usually after I had been out for an hour or more. Just as I was settling in I would start to get a cramp and nearly always when I was powering up to catch the wave. Right at the critical stage I would be at the mercy of the wave.

With the Rip Force Fin except for the first two surfs where I had some muscle soreness of the Achilles tendon I have not suffered from cramping like I did when using my other fins. Which, by the way, all had totally enclosed foot pockets. I also had some blistering on my heels from the heel strap but simply by wearing a pair of socks I have not had this occur again.

I have been using the Rip Force Fin for over two months now and I have absolutely no problem in saying that they are without a doubt the most comfortable fin I have ever used, bar none!

Believe me when I first saw the Force Fin Website I was cynical about their claims. But I was desperate. So I took the time to read the information and what Bob Evans, the founder of Force Fin, had to say. It soon became evident that the Force Fins were not being churned out just to meet the market, but in response to a need to provide a comfortable, efficient and far superior fin when compared to what is seen by many as being good enough. Come on, don't tell me that sticking your feet into a pair of clamps is OK? Near enough isn't good enough for you is it? No! It wasn't for me either and it never will be. This is why I searched around for a better fin, and found them in Force Fins.

Take the time to get used to the way the Rip Force Fin works. They are different to the "Joe average" pocket type fin in that when you first use the Rip Force Fin you find yourself trying to push against the pocket with your toes. When I started using the Rip Force Fins they felt totally alien to what I was used to. But at the same time I couldn't believe how natural it felt. Even now after using them for two months I am still amazed at how relaxed my legs feel after a couple of hours in the water.

If this doesn't convince you then think about this:

1. No enclosed foot pocket means no sand trapped under your toes. (Even the best drain holes don't get rid of all the sand)

2. No more loss of circulation to your feet because their in a pair of clamps. Rip Force Fins are adjustable and allow you to wear booties of any thickness.

3. The Rip Force Fin I use has sharks' teeth wings which control lateral movement and focus the tracking of the fin, which in turn puts the thrust directly behind you where it should be.

Worried about the cost then consider this. In the last four years I have owned three different sets of fins. The cheapest cost AU$40.00 the dearest was AU$80.00. If I average out the cost it comes to about AU$180.00. The cheapest had blade fold after 8 months of use and were no longer useable. And none of them were comfortable and in my view none of them performed as well as the Rip Force Fins do. Not One Pair!

It becomes obvious that Force Fins represent real value; without the cramps, without blood pooling in your feet because the fins you used to own were too tight, without sand stuck under your toes, and without peeling your toenail back against the top of the toe pocket. (Doesn't that bring tears to your eyes!)

What's the best thing I like about my Rip Force Fins? They do what they say they will and perform even better.

What have you got to lose except cramps? What have you got to gain? How does comfort and performance grab you. As the owner of Soonami Surf and the inventor of the V-Board and the Vent Keel I wouldn't recommend Force Fins if they didn't live up to my standard and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to you.
