"I use different Force Fins for different reasons. Extra Force are probably my favorite. I really like them for general SCUBA diving because they have a lot of umph. I kick everyone's butts when I'm wearing the Extras. I like the Pros for wreck diving because they're easy to maneuver in confined spaces. |

| I
remember one time I was diving with a buddy of mine who was in better shape
but using the old fashioned "plywood" fins. We were on the surface,
swimming on our backs and talking to each other and I noticed that he was
having a really hard time keeping up. He didn't even need to try Force Fins
to realize that he needed to get a pair. He was probably the easiest conversion
I've witnessed. I see a lot of people try Force Fins and not like them at first because they're so easy to kick. For some reason people equate resistance with velocity. I think what makes Force Fins so efficient is that they direct water behind you, not let it spill over the sides like other fins. |

I
used to get massive toe cramps while using other fins. It was the open foot
pocket that really drew me towards Force Fins. At first they felt funky,
because I wasn't used to them, but the more I used them the more I realized
how much better they were than other fins. A lot of dry suit divers like
Force Fins because they have really nice foot pockets for dry suits. I don't understand why anyone would use a different fin. I think the only people that don't like Force Fins are the ones that haven't used them. After I started using them, I gave all my other fins away. But you're not taking my Force Fins!" |
