I’ve used a secondhand pair of these for years for snorkeling when traveling. They are perfect for me for that purpose, as they pack small, are extremely durable, are so comfortable, and provide the thrust necessary to manage currents in unfamiliar waters. I finally bought myself a new pair after passing on my old ones, now that I have proven to myself their value at their offered price. Bring back the brighter colors, Bob!

I love the fins, except for the color available. I had to get black and can’t afford a new color easily. How about orange or yellow?

Thank you for your comment. As the first company to offer color choices as an option, and a fashion conscious swimmer, I miss color choice also. I had to ship my personal pair of ruby red Tan Delta Force Fins to Sylvia Earle when she gave her pair to another.
To manage through the challenges plaguing the US production economy, we had to compromise by streamlining inventory on the shelf. We are very thankful, as were our customers, that we were able to stay in production and ship fins throughout COVID-19 shut in. Although much of that is resolved, the effect on the US production economy, supply chain challenges and inflation still require compromise.
Black is the most popular color and most stable pigment. Black stays black so fins look new the longest.

I love these fins. I am a fitness swimmer. They were recommended by Total Immersion many years ago. I have a pair over 15 years old. Such a natural kicking motion with them. And the foot pocket helps with ankle mobility. They become part of your leg, not your foot, and engage many more muscles in your legs when swimming. My swim workouts are much better when I use these fins. I know they are not cheap. But it is a worthy one time investment in your personal fitness. They add some variety to the workouts. And more muscles get used. They will last forever. Don’t pass them up. I am an enthusiastic customer, with no personal or other relationship to Bob Evans or the company. But I am thankful for this product.
